Octavio Gil Tamayo has joined LÉBEQ Abogados, where he is in charge of the New Technologies and Special Properties area. Octavio Gil holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Pablo de Olvide. He was a Notary Public candidate at the Academia Sevillana del Notariado. He has acted as in-house legal advisor in prestigious companies and practised as a lawyer specialising in Private Law and New Technologies in professional firms in the city of Seville.
He will lead the New Technologies and Special Properties area, which is integrated in the Commercial Law department of LÉBEQ Abogados. He joins from Sanguino Abogados, where he worked in the Civil & Litigation area on Digital Law, IP, Fashion and Design matters.
On the other hand, Carlos Tassara joins LÉBEQ from Tassara & Asociados, where he was a partner since 2013, to lead the Public & Regulatory area. Previously, he was a partner at ITER Law & Partners and senior associate at Garrigues Seville office. He is a Law graduate from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and holds a Master´s degree in Urban Planning and Environment from Universidad San Pablo CEU.
His professional experience is focused on Public and Litigation Law, providing advice in the different areas of Administrative Law, which include, among others, Urban Planning, Environment, waters, Regulated Sectors, public hiring, forced expropriation, subsidies and state aids, as well as claims for patrimonial responsibility of the Public Administration.
According to the firm, the incorporation of Tassara will allow it to complete its capabilities to provide comprehensive advice to current clients, who demand more services, as well as opening up new possibilities for attracting new generation companies and matters, thanks to its multidisciplinary services.
