After the success of El Juego de las Élites, a fast-paced novel that realistically and critically describes the world of law firms and which has been a bestseller on Amazon, Javier Vasserot offers us La Condena de las Élites, the second part of a trilogy on the lights and shadows of the world of professional elites.
In this second instalment, which can be read independently from the first, the author, in the shoes of his protagonist, Bernardo, explores the grandeur and misery of the world of consultancy firms and investment funds. All that glitters is not gold, as the apparent glamour of the high financial and professional spheres hides innumerable traps and has a price that you have to be willing to pay.
Javier was a partner at PwC Spain until 2018, where he co-founded Ouliers, along with two ex-PwC colleagues and highly experienced professionals with a wide background in the finance, bankruptcy and legal industries. Previously he was also a partner at Bird & Bird and DLA Piper.

Outliers partners with a number of multi-billion hedge funds, family offices and investors to invest in complex, inefficient and illiquid situations. The firm´s main lines of action are class-action legal suits, distressed debt, debt instruments and pursuit of large and complex claims.
Javier holds a double degree in Law and Economy&Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
