KPMG senior manager rejoins GA_P as a senior associate

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has signed Ignacio Castellanos as a senior associate in the firm´s Public & Regulatory area, joining from KPMG Abogados, where he was a senior manager

Ignacio Castellanos Herraiz joined Gómez-Acebo & Pombo´s Public & Regulatory department and shortly jumped to the Big Four in 2016, making senior manager in 2021. At KPMG he has been providing advice in the firm´s Regulatory, Administrative and Competition Law department, in the field of public procurement and concessions (advice to private companies and public entities in the conclusion, modification, execution and termination of public contracts, both national and international), as well as in transactions involving the assignment of credit rights arising from public contracts. He also has experince in Due Diligences in different corporate transactions in regulated sectors, both national and international, and in Legal assistance in administrative proceedings and Legal direction in contentious-administrative proceedings at any level, as well as in Urban Planning, State Aid and Competition Law.

His hiring adds to that of Manuel Ramos Delgado, who also joined from KPMG to the same department, as already announced by Legal Dealmaker on June 14.

Ignacio holds a Law degree with a diploma in Business from Universidad Pontificia Comillas
