The Valencian healthcare group Ribera has reached an agreement with Magnum Capital to purchase the ‘Centro Médico Virgen de la Caridad’ group, the largest private healthcare company in the Region of Murcia. This operation “responds to its growth and expansion plan in a strategic area for Ribera, where the group already has the Ribera Molina hospital”, according to the Valencian company.
The deal is pending clearance from the European competition authorities. Banco Sabadell, owner of the remaining 10% of Ribera, has also agreed to sell this stake to Vivalto Santé if the deal with Centene materialises.
