The Colisée Group has bought from the private company Blauclínic the management of four social and healthcare centres located in the city of Barcelona, two of which, the Dolors Aleu in Putxet and the Isabel Roig in Sant Andreu, are public buildings under private management.
In a statement, Colisée has informed that with this purchase it has added a total of 644 beds for social and residential care for the elderly to its centres for the elderly located in the cities of Granollers, Sant Cugat and Igualada (Barcelona).
The centres purchased by this international group from Blauclínic are the Llar Sant Jordi nursing home, with 227 beds, located in Ronda de Dalt, and the Clínica Barceloneta socio-health centre, which offers palliative care and outpatient consultations.
It has also acquired the privately run, publicly owned social and healthcare centres, which until now were managed by Blauclínic, the Putget Dolors Aleu, with 174 beds for long stays, convalescence and palliative care, and the Isabel Roig Casernes Sant Andreu, with 243 beds for convalescence, sub-acute, palliative care and long stays.
