Both Montesdeoca and Miranda count on a recognised track record in the Canary Islands of more than 25 years of practice.
Antonio Montesdeoca joins the firm to reinforce the Administrative and Civil Law area, while Víctor Manuel Miranda will bring his high expertise to the Economic Criminal Law area.
With their signings, Kepler-Karst’s team now totals more than 20 professionals.
Miranda has extensive experience in the defence of Criminal matters, and specialises in proceedings involving crimes against property and socio-economic order;
Montesdeoca’s experience revolves around Private-Legal matters, with a special focus on proceedings relating to contractual relations and rights in rem.
In addition, both are advisors to public passenger transport companies, providing them with a high level of specialisation in Administrative Sanctioning Law and public sector contracting procedures with the public sector.
“We are facing a scenario in which we must be able to provide the highest level of advice in order to be able to face today´s challenges, and we firmly believe that the Economic criminal Law and Administrative & Civil Law areas are going to be key areas in the coming months, months, once the State aid to protect companies is lifted and we see the real state of the business market,” said Luis Barber, partner head of the Kepler-Karst office in the Canary Islands.
Both experts, both with Law degrees from the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, are members of the Canary Islands Bar Association.
“Víctor and Antonio’s professionalism and their knowledge of the islands and their idiosyncrasies is the perfect reinforcement for our office in Las Palmas. They are two magnificent professionals who fit perfectly with the idea of Kepler-Karst, the team and our way of working, close, honest and always with the highest standards,” added Luis Barber.
