Jones Day guides Sodify´s €29.8m RE investment

Jones Day has advised Sodify on its acquisition of an office building comprising three properties in Madbit, the business area located in the central Julián Camarillo area of the capital for €29.8 million

Sofidy debuts on the Spanish market. The real estate management company and subsidiary of the Tikehau Capital group is investing in an office building comprising three properties in Madbit, the business area located in the central Julián Camarillo area of the capital.

The property, previously owned by Green Oak, was sold for €29.8 million, as reported by the Socimi to BME Growth. The asset was built in 2006 and renovated in 2021 and has a strategic location at 34 Albarracín Street, in Madrid’s new technology district, Madbit, a business area occupied by emblematic Information and Communications Technology companies such as IBM, Indra, Telefónica and Atos.

The Socimi develops investment and savings products mainly focused on real estate assets and commercial and office properties. With €7.6 billion of assets under management, the fund has nearly 4,400 rental assets on behalf of more than 50,000 savers and numerous institutions.

Jones Day advised Sodify with a team made up head of Real Estate Víctor Casarrubios together with lawyer Luis Pérez Casas.
