Maker Farms, a leading company in the distribution and sale of equipment for the poultry sector, has announced that it has been acquired by the investment company Iberian Ventures, specialised in the acquisition of SMEs in Spain, which reinforces its commitment to the poultry sector after the first acquisition of Comavic in July 2021. With this second acquisition, the group aims to be one of the leaders in Spain, being able to offer the best brands in all directions.
Maker Farms is a company founded more than 30 years ago in Olot, Gerona. Practically since its beginnings, the , acquiring a great name among its customers.
“Thanks to its customer service and the brands it distributes, Maker Farms has achieved a very good position in the breeding and laying hen sub-sector, areas that our other subsidiary in the sector does not cover. This acquisition will help to provide us with a portfolio of high quality poultry brands, as well as a wider customer base by being able to offer a range of products that covers all types of poultry farms,” Iberian Ventures said in a statement.
