Round Robin Inversiones SOCIMI specialises in the purchase of real estate through the auction system, and has today become a listed company.
This is a major milestone for the real estate sector, as it will be the first company to be listed on a market where first admission equity and fixed income securities can be traded.
The company’s listing on the stock market, constituted as a SOCIMI at the end of 2022, has been advised by a multidisciplinary team from Hogan Lovells’ Madrid office, led by partners Emilio Gómez (Real Estate) and Juan Garicano (Tax). In addition, junior associate Paloma Martín (Real Estate), senior associate Igor Montejo (Tax) and junior associate Irene Álvarez (Tax) participated in the transaction.
Emilio Gómez commented: “We are very proud of this important milestone, in which we have transferred our experience in SOCIMIs to a new and very attractive market for investors.” For his part, Juan Garicano highlighted that “By accompanying Round Robin to become the first Portfolio Stock Exchange listed company, we have paved the way for other companies.”
