Hogan Lovells announces new global leadership for growth, clients and industry sectors

Hogan Lovells New York partner Phoebe A. Wilkinson has been appointed to the newly created role of Global managing partner for Growth, which will focus on growing the firm's strategic client relationships and leveraging our strengths in key industry sectors. In addition to Phoebe's new role, Munich partner Patrick Ayad has been appointed as Global managing partner, Sectors.

Phoebe will become a member of the firm’s International Management Committee.

Phoebe, a partner in the firm’s Litigation, Arbitration, and Employment (LAE) Practice Group, has a long history of leadership at the firm, including serving on Hogan Lovells’ Board, where she has headed the Advancement Committee for several years. She also has served on the global LAE leadership team, head of our New York Litigation practice, and co-lead of our Electronics & Consumer Appliances industry sector.

Phoebe is a highly accomplished litigator and trial attorney who represents clients in high-stakes litigation in courts throughout the United States and before international arbitration tribunals around the world. In addition to her new role she will continue to work closely with our Advancement Committee to develop our pipeline of talent for advancement to partner.

Putting clients at the center of everything we do is one of our strategic priorities,” said Hogan Lovells CEO Miguel Zaldivar. “Phoebe brings a wealth of experience in developing and maintaining deep client relationships across multiple industries, including consumer, life sciences & healthcare, and energy.

In addition to Phoebe’s new role, Munich partner Patrick Ayad has been appointed as Global managing partner, Sectors. He will work closely with Phoebe and the firm’s Sector Group Leaders to further build on our client and industry sector programs. Patrick is a partner in the Global Regulatory Practice Group, and leads both the Mobility and Transportation sector at Hogan Lovells and the firm’s Strategic Operations, Agreements and Regulation (SOAR) practice.

Phoebe Wilkinson commented: “I am looking forward to working closely with Patrick on such important areas for the firm. Patrick’s breadth of experience advising global companies on commercial and regulatory matters, and his leadership of our Mobility and Transportation sector, positions him perfectly to propel our client and industry sector programs forward.

Ina Brock will be stepping down from her role as managing partner, Clients & Industries, which she has held for the last six years. She will continue to focus on her market-leading disputes practice and to play an important role in strategic client development efforts.

Miguel Zaldivar, CEO, stated: “Creating these two new roles that Phoebe and Patrick have been appointed to clearly indicates a significant juncture in our Clients & Industries program at Hogan Lovells. This is testament to the outstanding leadership and commitment that Ina has demonstrated in her role in the last six years. I am delighted that Phoebe and Patrick will now have the opportunity to build on this success and to take our commitment to clients and to industry sectors to new heights.
