HL advises ENSO on €70m country’s largest biomass cogeneration plant creation

Hogan Lovells has advised ENSO on the creation of the country's largest biomass cogeneration plant for €70 million

-

The project, with an investment of close to €70 million, will have the collaboration of the Junta de Castilla y León. The facility will generate annually more than 346,000 tonnes of steam and more than 45,000 MWe (megawatt-hours of electricity), which will cover most of ACOR’s thermal and electrical needs.

The Regulatory and Corporate-Private Equity teams, led respectively by Fernando Calancha and Graciela Llaneza (partners), have advised the renewable energy group ENSO on its agreement with ACOR, one of Spain’s largest agri-food producers, for the construction of the country’s largest biomass cogeneration plant.
