Victoria Esteban del Palacio has been promoted to counsel in the Administrative Law practice area and the Planning and Zoning practice area. She also has extensive experience in the Environmental practice area.
Victoria is also experienced in the Energy practice area. Her experience in this field covers the electricity industry (both generation under the ordinary regime and based on renewables) and the hydrocarbon industry (both oil and gas).
She started her career at Garrigues in 2006 in the same area, and in 2019 was promoted to principal associate from the senior associate role.
Of particular note is her advisory work in Environmental Law (e.g. environmental authorizations, water resources, coasts, protected areas, waste, climate change and energy efficiency) and on Zoning Law (planning, zoning agreements, permits).
As regards her teaching experience, she was an assistant lecturer in Environmental Law on the Master’s Degree in Business Law offered by Centro de Estudios Garrigues and in Regulated Industries Law at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria.
Victoria Esteban holds a degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE E-3) and a Master’s Degree in Advanced Energy Law ENERCLUB.
