The Tomás Carulla family, one of the branches of the saga that owns the Agrolimen group, owner of Gallina Blanca-GB Foods and Affinity Petcare, has received the CNMV’s approval for its venture capital company: Laorjami Investments. Talenta Gestión, the Barcelona-based financial services firm, will manage it.
Laorjami Investments is 100% controlled by Tomàs Carulla’s Laorjami holding company and has a subscribed capital of 1.2 million euros. The new firm, which is registered in the CNMV’s register of venture capital entities, will take stakes in private equity funds and make direct investments in North American and European companies, excluding the financial sector.
Garrigues team advising the family and Talenta was formed by partner Luis de la Peña, senior associate Francesc Cholvi, associate Marcelo Moreira and legal trainee David Harto.
