US investment fund Realty Income has acquired six Carrefour supermarkets from Carrefour Property España. The deal is structured as a sale & leasback transaction, and Carrefour will keep operating the properties. The six supermarkets are in Seville, Mérida, Móstoles, Petrer, Ruivas Vaciamadrid and Salamanca.
The French group also sold seven of its supermarkets in Spain to the same US investment firm for €93 million in 2021.
