Garrigues advises Batipart on RE acquisition in Malaga

Garrigues has advised France´s Batipart on its acquisition of a residential rental building comprising 32 homes and two commercial premises in Malaga

French real estate company Batipart has acquired a residential rental building comprising 32 homes and two commercial premises in the city of Malaga.

The property, of recent construction, consists of 1 and 2 bedroom homes and two commercial premises in a “strategic location, close to all types of services within the radius of expansion of the historic city centre”. The building is in the area of Martiricos.

This new deal highlights the interest in the rental residential segment in the city of Malaga for specialised investors and operators in the sector.

Batipart Residencial Spain, part of the Batipart Group, was founded by Charles Ruggieri in 1988 and is present in Europe, Africa and North America. In Spain, the Batipart Group has been operating since 2015 and manages a portfolio of approximately €400 million.

Garrigues advised Batipart with a team formed by Real Estate head partner Héctor Muñoz, Tax partner Gonzalo Rincón and Real Estate principal associate Blanca Jiménez Aparicio.
