He also holds an LL.M. in European Legal Studies from the College of Europe (Bruges, Belgium). He is a British and Belgian national and, in addition to being a member of the Brussels Bar, is a solicitor in England and Wales.
The Brussels office of Garrigues has a team of lawyers recognised for their technical excellence and established experience in administrative and judicial proceedings before the institutions and courts of the EU and its Member States. Garrigues’ lawyers in Brussels represent clients in some of the leading international competition law matters.
English believes that “Garrigues has achieved a recognition in Brussels that, until now, has been reserved for the big Anglo-Saxon firms; I am confident that my joining the team will help us to reach even greater heights.”
“Mark brings a wealth of experience in high-profile matters and in areas that are very relevant to our clients. His addition reinforces our ability to provide top-quality advice on complex international matters,” said Alfonso Lamadrid, partner in charge of Garrigues’ Brussels office.
