Lluís Peñuelas has an extensive professional career with more than 30 years of experience advising museums, foundations, public administrations, and art collectors on legal, financial, economic, and governance issues. From 1990 to 2021, he was Secretary General of the Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí and responsible for the management of the foundation’s three museums and its general administration.
Lluís Peñuelas is a Professor of Financial and Tax Law at Pompeu Fabra University (on voluntary leave of absence). He is also the author and editor of numerous books and publications on legal dogmatics in the fields of Art and Museum Law, Foundation Law, and Financial Law. He holds a degree and PhD in Law from the University of Barcelona and is a Visiting Scholar at Harvard and Stanford Law Schools.
