GA_P leads on Reveni´s €800K funding round

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has assisted instant reimbursement startup Reveni securing €800,000 in a financing round, to help with its launch, and to grow in terms of product

The instant reimbursement startup Reveni has closed an €800,000 financing round led by the founder of Aplázame and Devengo, Fernando Cabello, with the participation of JME Venture, the founders of Capchase, Ignacio Moreno, Luis Basagoiti and Miguel Fernández, and the co-founder of Ironhack and Scout of Accel, Gonzalo Manrique. In addition, investors such as Iberia’s chief financial officer, José Antonio Barrionuevo, and the co-founder of Cobee, Borja Aranguren, among others.

According to the company, this amount will be used for its launch, and specifically, to grow in terms of product. Founded in 2022, Reveni offers instant refunds and has already reached agreements with brands such as Pompeii, Laagam, Bimani, Feners, Neutrale, Diplomatic and MIM shoes.

“The ecommerce sector has been subject to a lot of disruption, all linked to offering a better customer experience, but also all focused on the buying process. The post-sale experience has been the forgotten part of this trend and there is still a lot of work to be done. If you pay before you receive your order, why do you get a refund after you return it? We want to turn returns from a headache to a sales lever for companies. We started this disruption by offering instant refunds,” said Fernando Pedraz, founder of Reveni.

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo advised Reveni with a team formed by Corporate M&A partner and Head of New York office David González, along with Corporate M&A lawyer Patricia Pérez.
