GA_P helps El Club del Asesor with its sale to Grupo Primavera

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Spanish consultancy solutions provider El Club del Asesor on its sale to Grupo Primavera

Grupo Primavera has announced its latest acquisition: El Club del Asesor, a deal that continues the previous acquisitions of Ekon (the first in 2019), Tabulae, Contasimple, Billage, Diez Software, Professional Software, Primavera BSS, GSE and Profiture.

Primavera Business Software Solutions, a Portuguese leader in business management software, was acquired by Oakley Capital´s Private Equity III fund in June 2021. The Company was combined with existing Oakley Capital portfolio company Ekon, a Spanish provider of Enterprise Resource Planning software, to create a new group under the name Grupo Primavera, which has become the largest independent provider of business software in Iberia.

El Club del Asesor was founded in 1989 with the aim of providing professional consultancies and firms with the best solutions for their business, offering not only complete Tax, Accounting and Labour Management solutions but going one step further and offering a wide variety of services for professional advisors and firms, with a client portfolio of 4,500 firms.

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo advised El Club del Asesor with a Corporate team comprising partner Francisco Gil and lawyer Patricia Pérez Beade.
