Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised CT on its sale of Asidek, the Business Unit of CT Solutions Group that integrates AUTODESK PLM technologies to Arkance, advised by Bird &Bird

Arkance – a subsidiary of Monnoyeur – has acquired Asidek from CT Solutions Group. Founded in 1992, Asidek is a major player in the digitalisation of the building and manufacturing industries in Spain and Portugal. The company completes its portfolio of solutions and strengthens its position as a leading distributor of CAD and BIM technologies across Europe and Turkey.

Arkance Systems strengthens its position in Europe as an Autodesk Platinum Partner with subsidiaries in Benelux, France, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Turkey, Finland, Hungary, Spain and Portugal.

The acquisition is part of Monnoyeur’s strategy to establish a leading European distribution network to support its customers – building and earthmoving contractors, design offices, infrastructure owners, manufacturing companies and mine and quarry operators – in their digitalization.

“In just a few years, Arkance has become a major player in the AUTODESK distribution network in Europe, and now holds a leading position in many European countries. We are very pleased with the development of this activity within our Group and the unique value proposition it allows us to offer to our traditional customers in the Construction sector but also more broadly to the Manufacturing players,” said Philippe MONNOYEUR, CEO of the MONNOYEUR Group.

Jesus Prieto, CEO of CT, said: “Arkance is very appreciative of Asidesk’s leadership as one of the most important Platinum resellers in Southern Europe. This integration will allow Iker Ochoa and the entire Asidek team to continue to develop within an organisation that is primarily focused on the Autodesk business. CT will continue its efforts to develop new offerings focused on digitalization. “

Historically linked to the Construction sector through its activities as a Caterpillar dealer in Europe, Monnoyeur was able to perceive very early on the major impact that digitalisation would have on its customers in the long term. By acquiring Asidek, Arkance is investing in one of the most important AUTODESK resellers in Southern Europe, where it has a network of 9 agencies in Spain and Portugal.

Asidek is the Business Unit of CT Solutions Group that integrates AUTODESK PLM technologies. The mission of the Asidek team is to help companies become more competitive by improving the lifecycle management of their products/assets or projects with Autodesk technology.

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo advised CT with a team led by Corporate/M&A partner David Riopérez, along with of counsel Remedios García Gómez de Zamora, associate Patricia Pérez Beade, Lisbon office managing partner Mafalda Barreto, senior associate Susana Morgado, Ana Paula Basílio, senior associate Inês Garcia Beato, Ana Baptista, and Sofia Barbosa.

Lourdes Ayala and Antonio Ballesteros

On the other hand, Bird & Bird advised Arkance with a team led by partner Lourdes Ayala along with senior associate Antonio Ballesteros and associates Monica Sangalli and Pablo Vilchez.
