GA_P advises Kobus Partners on two wind farms acquisition

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Kobus Partners on its acquisition of wind farms Las Quemadillas and Valparaíso, located in Palencia from Cerberus

Kobus Renewable Energy III and Kobus Renewable Energy IV, investment vehicles of Kobus Partners, acquired Eólica Las Quemadillas and Eólica Valparaíso, with a total installed capacity of more than 90MW, from Cerberus Capital Management (Global) for an undisclosed consideration.

Eólica Las Quemadillas owns the rights, authorisations and administrative licenses necessary for the construction and operation of a windfarm named Quemadillas with an installed capacity of 49.5 MW, located in the municipality of Palencia, consisting of nine wind turbines, located in the municipality of Ampudia (Palencia).

Eólica Valparaíso owns the rights, authorisations and administrative licenses necessary for the construction and operation of a windfarm named Valparaíso with an installed capacity of 41.25 MW, consisting of eight wind turbines, located in the municipality of Ampudia (Palencia).

GA_P advised Kobus Partners with a team led by Energy head partner Verónica Romaní Sancho, together with Corporate senior associate Diego Martínez Colino and Corporate lawyer Saray López Lindo.
