Elena Úbeda was a long-time lawyer at Uría Menéndez in Barcelona, joining the firm in 1990. She left the firm in January 2022 to work as a Corporate/M&A advisor for EUHCorporate, developing its Corporate/M&A strategy.
She is secretary and member of the Booard of Directors of several companies and has been widely and recurrently recognised by the international legal directories (she was included in Bes Lawers 2021 in the Private Equity Law category).
She joined Uría Menéndez in 1990 and has been a partner of the firm since 2003. Her practice focuses on Corporate Law, particularly on company Acquisitions, Mergers and Restructuring, joint ventures and investment and divestment transactions in all their forms through national and international structures. She has more than 25 years of experience advising a large number of French and Belgian companies on their investments in Spain, providing ongoing Legal advice in the transactional, Corporate, Commercial, Contractual, etc. fields. She is particularly specialised in advising multinational groups of companies in the food and retail sector, as well as in other traditional industrial sectors, and has extensive experience advising funds and companies in the Private Equity sector on their investment and divestment operations.
