Fourlaw advises Digixem 360 on two acquisitions in Chile

Fourlaw Abogados has advised Digixem360, Latin American subsidiary of the Italian group Digital 360, on its acquisition of Editorial Microbyte Ltda (EMB) and Grupo Uno a Uno

-

Digixem360, the Latin American subsidiary of the Italian group Digital 360, has announced that it has completed two acquisitions in Chile, bringing the total number of companies acquired in the Latin American region to eight.

It acquired a majority stake in Editorial Microbyte Ltda (EMB) and Grupo Uno a Uno. These two acquisitions in Chile aim to replicate the ‘Demand Generation’ model successfully developed in Italy, which foresees the synergistic combination of EMB’s digital publishing assets with Uno a Uno’s event organisation expertise and digital marketing services.

Launched last year and still in the evolution and development phase, the international expansion path aims to replicate the business and growth model already successfully experienced by Digital360 in Italy, consolidating highly fragmented markets that share the same language (Spanish), with the possibility of exploiting a single shared team and platform.

“With the entry of EMB and Uno a Uno, the Group’s expansion project in Latam continues, in a country of great importance in the region and where we were not yet present. This is an important step in the strategic direction underlying the project. Specifically, the establishment of a new market leader in Latin America able to offer a full range of marketing and lead generation services to technology companies (starting with the big global players),” said Simone Battiferri, CEO of Digixem360.

Fourlaw advised Digixem360 on the two deals with a team formed by partner Gabriele Hofmann and associate Iñigo Andrés González.
