After almost three years as a Corporate/M&A lawyer at PwC Spain, Jaime joined FIFA in 2014, where he established an outstanding working relationship with Marc Cavaliero. Since 2017, he led the Disciplinary department and was responsible, among many others, for handling disciplinary issues during the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. Since December 2018, he was entrusted to create and develop the FIFA Litigation department, which centralised all disputes involving FIFA before CAS. As part of his work, Jaime represented FIFA in hundreds of arbitral procedures in all fields, such as governance, employment-related, transfers of players, doping, disciplinary, ethics, etc.

He now joins the Geneva-headquarted boutique law firm Cavaliero & Associates, where he will be a partner and will provide advice on party representation in front of decision-making bodies of international sports federations as well as in front of the Court of Arbitration for Sport, drafting of sports regulations and on governance matters of sports federations.
Jaime is a Law graduate from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICAI-ICADE), and has a diploma in International Relations from the same university, as well as a Master´s degree in Legal advice by IE Business School.
