Alberto Colomina is an expert in Intellectual property (copyright, trademarks, patents, unfair competition), Data Protection, e-commerce, consumer regulation, Information Society and New Technologies.
Since 2017, his professional career has focused on the Intellectual and Industrial Property, data protection, consumers and users, e-commerce, advertising and image rights. During these years, he has provided both contentious and non-contentious advice to numerous operators in the digital, music and audiovisual sectors.
He started his career as an IP/IT lawyer at CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo in 2017, In 2020, he moved to ECIJA as a senior lawyer, focusing on Intellectual Property, particularly on Media, Software and IT matters. In 2021 he started at LetsLaw, from where he now joins the Big Four as a senior lawyer.
Alberto holds a Law degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a double Master´s degree in Access to the Legal Profession and in Intellectual Property from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (with academic award). He also holds IP Law studies from Aranzadi-Thomson Reuters.
Alberto is a regular contributor to the media on Intellectual Property rights, and Legal Dealmaker recently pubished an opinion article by him on the Spanish Securities Market Commission (CNMV) issues concerning the new rules regulating the advertising of cryptoassets.
