EY advises Applus+ on IDV Madrid acquisition

EY Abogados has advised Spanish multinational Applus+, one of the global leaders in the inspection, testing and certification sector, on the acquisition of Entidad IDV Madrid (IDV), a company that operates three vehicle inspection stations in the Madrid region

Following this transaction, Applus+ now has nine MOT stations in Madrid, reinforcing its position as the company that carries out the largest number of inspections in Spain and in the region.

The teams of the Legal, Tax and Labour area of EY Abogados who have participated in this transaction and who have advised both on the Due Dilegence and on the negotiation of the sale and purchase agreement have been formed by Corporate M&A and Private Equity partner Susana Gómez Badiola, Labour & Social Security partner Raúl García, M&A Tax partner Elena Sánchez, together with the members of their respective teams Rosa Cañas Lorenzo, Miguel Prado Agudo and José Manuel Gutierrez, senior managers, and Gadea Pérez de Guzmán Cubas, Laura Íñigo Gazulla and Andrea Velasco. The sellers were advised by Félix J. González Iglesias and his team.

The EY Finance team involved in this transaction was formed by Mar Ares, SaT partner, together with the members of her team Víctor García and Miguel Durán, director and manager respectively.
