In an interview with Diario Sur, the lawyer announces the opening of his firm, which will be based in Marbella and Malaga.
Coming from the prestigious international law firm Dentons, where he has been for more than seven years as an associate, Ignacio has provided Tax advice to international investment funds, private equity, insurance companies, and high net worth individuals. He is also a university professor of Tax Law at the Alfonso X El Sabio University and co-author of “Manual de compra de deuda en España”. Previously to his experience at Dentons, he also worked at Garrigues.
Heber Partners was created with the aim of providing Tax advice to investment funds, servicers, investors, companies, high net worth individuals and individuals, both residents and non-residents, in real estate transactions, M&A, estate planning, inheritance, tax, and contentious-tax procedures, as well as participating in the main transactions carried out in the province of Malaga.
As Álvarez explains in the same interview, Heber Partners offers Tax advisory services specialising in projects, such as the implementation of a tax structure for the acquisition of a company or an office building, tax planning for the wealth of companies or families, advice on corporate restructuring, inheritance planning and defending the interests of a taxpayer in an inspection.

He is a Law and Business Administration graduate from the Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio and holds a Master’s degree in Business Tax Consultancy (LL.M.) from the IE Business School. He also studied an Executive Course in Business Law from the Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
