Eversheds reinforces its Finance services practice in Spain with the incorporation of Manuel López as a new partner

Manuel López joins from Ashurst, and, at Eversheds, he will reinforce Finance, Banking and Capital Markets practices. He is a well-known expert in Financing operations and Financial regulation, such as the authorisation of new entities and provision of financial services, adapting to regulatory modifications, investment funds, and crypto-assets. Throughout his professional career, he has specialised in advising credit institutions, listed companies, investment services companies and funds in all matters related to the regulation of financial services and financing operations.

He also has extensive experience in procedures with supervisory authorities in the financial field such as the Bank of Spain, the CNMV, and the SEPBLAC, as well as in judicial and extrajudicial banking and financial procedures.

Throughout his career, he has advised on a multitude of infrastructure and energy project financings (project finance). In ​​Capital Markets, he has had extensive experience in listing processes at BME Growth and Euronext, bond issues and other capital operations (accelerated book building, repurchases, etc.)

In addition to this, López has been a professor of Commercial Law since 2001 and is currently a professor teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses at CUNEF.
