From 1997 to 2011, María Victoria worked at El Corte Inglés, where she managed and implemented the Group’s regulatory compliance. Subsequently, she founded her own firm, VDT Abogados, until she joined Ejaso, which, according to the press release, is one of the top 15 firms in terms of national turnover.

Highly specialised in Economic Criminal Law, with special mention to the crimes of Money Laundering and Tax Fraud, she has defended and prosecuted in proceedings of maximum legal relevance in the National Court and in Compliance after having carried out the criminal liability compliance programmes of the legal person for numerous relevant companies in the country and is a pioneer in the “Cibercompliance” protocols for “Cloud Computing”.
