Natalia’s appointment gives a strong strategic boost to this department, led by partner César Herrero.
Natalia López Condado has an extensive professional background of almost 25 years of experience in the legal sector. She has extensive experience in Regulatory issues affecting the Private Banking sector in Spain (business models to be implemented in Spain by Spanish and foreign financial institutions, authorisation processes before the Bank of Spain and CNMV, MiFID II policies, product marketing, personalised recommendations, discretionary portfolio management, rules of conduct) and the Asset Management sector (ELTIF, UCITS, AIFMD, PRIIPs, Cross-Border Fund Distribution Directive, incorporation of investment funds, master-feeder structures, fund pre-marketing). She also has experience in anti-money laundering.
Natalia started her professional career at Clifford Chance, where she spent more than 20 years. She holds a Law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, a PhD from Georgetown University and an LL.M. from the University of Chicago.
