Dentons restructures Global leadership

Dentons has appointed Karen Martin as Global vice chair and Andrea Johnson as menber of Dentons Global Board, while Global chairman Joe Andrew will not run for another term and the role will be retired

Dentons has announced today the following leadership appointments for its Global Board:

  • Karen Martin as Global vice chair
  • Andrea Johnson as a member of the Dentons Global Board

The ifrm has also appointed Laura Estep as presiding member of the Dentons Canada Region Board

Laura, Karen and Andrea have all held various leadership positions over the years, and we are fortunate they will take on expanded roles, nationally and globally, as we continue delivering exceptional service to our clients across our unparalleled global Firm,” said Tim Haney, CEO of Dentons Canada. “On behalf of all firm members, I also wish to thank Rick Scott, outgoing Global vice chair and Presiding Member of the Canada Region Board, for his numerous contributions to the success of the Firm over the past decade.”

This happens after the announcement that Global chairman, Joe Andrew, decided to not run for another term as the Firm marks its 10th anniversary.  Mr. Andrew, who is the founding Global chairman of Dentons, and founding Global chairman of one of Dentons’ predecessor firms, SNR Denton, will continue to serve as Global chairman into next year.  following Mr. Andrew’s decision, the Global Board has decided to formally retire the Global chairman role after Mr. Andrew leaves the role. All other global management positions remain in place.
