According to El Confidencial, the European management of the firm announced this week his re-election as managing partner in our country, a decision that represents an important endorsement by the continental leadership of the organisation of the first year and a half of the lawyer’s mandate. Badiola will thus remain at the helm of the Spanish offices of the world’s largest law firm until at least 31 December 2024.
Badiola’s continuity in the position also represents Dentons Europe’s endorsement of the path initiated by the lawyer in mid-2020, when he took over the leadership of the firm in our country after the departure of its previous managing partner Jesús Varela. At that time, Badiola established an ambitious work plan that, in the long term, aimed to place Dentons among the leading international firms in our country, which required, among other measures, carrying out a profound (and never easy to manage) internal reshuffle, giving way to a new generation of partners with a profile aligned with the new direction of the firm.
