Dentons launches Global GCI offering

To address the dramatically changing and increasingly complex web of criminal and regulatory laws governing multinational corporations, Dentons has launched a new Global Compliance and Investigations offering (GCI)

GCI brings together a team with nearly a decade of experience, providing clients with local insight into culture and law, backed by the global experience and breadth of expertise of the world’s largest law firm. Dentons’ GCI offering is a holistic solution for clients that ensures immediate access to the right expertise wherever it is needed, calling on diverse experiences and skills sets from a variety of legal practices, strategic consultancy, and in-house former intelligence personnel.

Dentons’ GCI is co-chaired by Berlin partner Judith Aron and Washington DC partner Maxwell Carr-Howard and involves regional leadership in Africa (Afolabi Caxton-Martins and Kirith Haria), Asia Pacific (Ben Allen and Ipshita Chaturvedi), Canada (Anthony Cole and Paul Lalonde), China (Ken (Jianmin) Dai and Eva (Yue) Niu), Europe, (Diego Pol), Latin America and the Caribbean (Denise Chachamovitz Leão de Salles and Santiago Oliva Pinto), UK, Ireland, Middle East (Katharine Harle and Stephen Shergold), and the United States (Uchenna Ekuma-Nkama and David Kornblau).

Judith Aron and Maxwell Carr-Howard have been part of Dentons’ global efforts on compliance and investigations for nearly a decade. They helped to form the Firm’s innovative approach to investigations and compliance during the Firm’s largest single client investigation, spanning all regions, more than 45 countries, and involving more than 200 lawyers across the firm.
