With this deal, the French group now incorporates Gecol, a family business with almost 50 years of existence, led by Marcial Sánchez Fernández.
Soprema has five production plants in Spain in Castellbisbal, Sant Cugat del Vallès, Cervera, Vallmoll and Villasequilla.
Gecol focuses on the manufacture of mortars for laying and grouting ceramic tiles, rehabilitation and façade cladding, technical mortars, additives and other solutions for construction. It currently has 13 production centres and one logistic centre in Spain, and operates in more than 20 countries with more than 2,000 references..
