DAC Beachcroft hires lawyer from Hogan Lovells

DAC Beachcroft has recruited Blanca Romero de Ory from Hogan Lovells

Blanca joins DAC Beachcroft from Hogan Lovells, where she has worked for the last three years, firstly in the Insurance and Reinsurance Department (Litigation, Regulatory and Commercial practice) and later in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution area.

During her first stage at Hogan Lovells, she specialised in, among others, the legal defence in product liability and professional liability litigations, legal defence in administrative and civil proceedings regarding surety insurances, advice to insurance companies on the interpretation of coverage of D&O policies, civil liability and damages. She also acquired experience in the Regulatory practice: advising insurance companies (insurance activity, insurance distribution activity, policy content, legislative changes) and financial entities (payment services and credit institution regulations). During this time, she also worked in Commercial practice matters such as drafting of agreements, M&A, the establishment of branches in Spain of foreign entities.

Previously, Blanca worked as an intern at other prestigious law firms like CMS Spain and Pérez-Llorca. She holds a double degree in Law and Political Science and Public Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and got her Master´s degree in Access to the Legal Profession from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
