Cuatrecasas nabs EY Labour head partner in Valencia

Cuatrecasas has approved the hiring of Isabel Merenciano, who joins the firm in Valencia from EY Abogados, where she was head of the Big Four´s Labour practice in Valencia

As informed by Expansión Jurídico, Cuatrecasas has approved the appointment of Isabel Merenciano as a new Labour partner in its Valencia office. The appointment was ratified yesterday by a vote of the company’s Board of Partners and will take effect in the coming weeks, when this well-known Labour lawyer completes the services she has been providing at EY.

Merenciano joined EY two and a half years ago, where she has worked as a partner specialising in the labour area. Previously, she had developed an extensive professional career at Broseta Abogados, where she worked between 2002 and 2009, and where she was also partner and head of the Labour Law department.

Isabel Merenciano has extensive practical experience in the different branches of company labour law, both in the social, contentious and criminal areas related to labour issues, advising many companies and institutions, especially in collective bargaining, restructuring, compensation agreements and senior management.

Merenciano is one of the best known labour lawyers in the Valencian legal world.

Isabel is a Law graduate from Universitat de Valencia.
