Cuatrecasas has advised March Private Equity, Banca March’s private equity manager, on the launch of its second fund of funds called March PE Global II, with a target size of between €250 million and €300 million, which will invest in international private equity.

Following the success of its first programme, launched two years ago, which raised a target volume of €250 million in four months and attracted more than 600 investors, Banca March Group will once again commit 20% and offer investors the possibility of financing up to 50% of capital calls. And, like its predecessor, the new fund will be characterised by shareholder support, exclusivity, maximum alignment of interests and confidence in the strategy.

100% of the investment will be international, mainly from the US and European markets, and it also aims to be present in different sectors, especially megatrends, defensive, generalist and niche, that are committed to sustainable strategies.

For the launch of this second fund, Cuatrecasas advised with a team comprising Funds partner Jorge Canta, together with lawyers Pilar Pastor and Daniel del Pozo.
