Crowe has inaugurated its new office in the emblematic Torre Realia in Madrid in the presence of the Mayor, José Luis Martínez-Almeida Navasqüés, and the current member of the Spanish Parliament and former Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, José Luis Ábalos, the current member of the Spanish Parliament, former Minister of the Environment and former President of the CNMV, Elvira Rodriguez, and the Director General of Research, Teaching and Innovation of the Community of Madrid, María Luz de los Mártires.
The event was also attended by the chairman of Crowe Spain, Carlos Puig De Travy, and the chairman of Crowe Legal y Tributario, Jordi Bech.
The new space, located on the 22nd floor, has more than 600 square metres and houses more than 70 professionals specialised in providing legal and tax services, as well as auditing and consultancy. The office, strategically located next to the decision-making centres of the main companies and the nerve centre of the country’s economic activity, will be one of the fundamental pillars of its strategy with which the firm aspires to compete at the highest level and consolidate its position as one of the six leading firms in the Spanish market.
Crowe’s commitment to Madrid is reflected in the signing of Tax lawyer Elena García de la Torre Sanz in 2022, Strategy and Innovation Consulting specialists Carlos González Luis and Jose Antonio Hernandez, and managing partner Fernando Segú, who make up the firm’s team of partners.
The launch was announced on April 2021. The new office is headed by Fernando Segú, who has led Due Diligence, Valuation and Restructuring projects in more than 20 countries and with more than 25 years of experience advising on corporate transactions for prominent clients at the highest level, specialised in Private Equity and Venture Capital.
