-

As informed by Expansión Jurídico, Boosting the Madrid office is part of Crowe’s strategic plan, which has just closed the signing of Elena García de la Torre, who has joined the firm not only as a Tax partner but also as head of the Madrid office.

With more than 20 years of experience, she has extensive experience in the field of general taxation, specialising in corporate restructuring processes and the taxation of consolidated groups, both domestic and foreign companies.

The new Crowe partner worked at Cuatrecasas and KPMG before joining PwC 14 years ago, where she was a partner of the firm.

With a degree in Law from the University of Zaragoza and a Master’s degree in Tax Consultancy and Management from Esade, García de la Torre has been a lecturer at the same institution for more than 15 years.

This move in the Tax area coincides with the promotion to partner of the Barcelona office of the hitherto associate director, Daniel Tarroja, a specialist in the field of Tax proceedings and Litigation.
