Covadonga holds a Law degree from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) and a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property from the same institution.
Her professional expertise has mainly been focused on digital business and technology related contracts covering Intellectual Property, New Technologies and Data Protection matters, with specific expertise in the field of (online) business-to-consumer (B2C) matters.
She advises national and international companies on contractual matters and litigation proceedings, particularly focusing on mobile/e-commerce, software, digital media and artificial intelligence, as well as negotiating complex commercial contracts in both B2B and B2C contexts, covering all aspects of trading practices, marketing & advertising, and advising on any relevant warranty and liability issues.
She joins CMS Spain from ECIJA, where she was an IT/IP senior associate. Previously, she worked at Bird & Bird and VTF Abogados.
