The British multinational Rentokil Initial has acquired the entire share capital of Lokímica, in the hands of the founding family, which has more than 300 employees and 15 branches throughout Spain.
Rentokil consolidates its position as a market leader in Spain and creates a giant in pest control, environmental hygiene, and disinfection services, with a turnover of €70 million and more than 1,100 employees.
Lokímica, which will remain an independent business unit, specialises in pest control services for public administrations, and mixed and large private companies throughout Spain.
This movement is key to the Rentokil Initial group’s growth strategy in Spain, adding to the six other operations carried out since 2020.
