ClarkeModet names new Legal Services director

Intellectual Property firm ClarkeModet has signed Jorge Oria as head of its Legal Services in Spain, joining from Abril Abogados

Jorge Oria holds more than 18 years of professional experience in the field of Industrial Property, as a Litigation lawyer. He has extensive experience in high-level Litigation in Trademark, Patent, Design, and Unfair Competition matters, as well as in general IP Legal advice, managing the national and international legal team of Abril Abogados, where he has collaborated since 2005, and from where he has joined Clarkemodet Spain as Legal Services director. Previously, he was a lawyer at red.es.

Jorge has extensive knowledge and experience in domain name recovery (UDRP procedures). He has been recognized by The Legal 500 EMEA 202, IAM PATENT 1000 2021, and BEST LAWYERS 2020.

He is a Law graduate from Universidad de Salamanca and a specialist in New Technologies Law from the Universidad San Pablo CEU.

The Group ClarkeModet is a leader in Intellectual Property in Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries, thanks to its pioneering, innovative vocation for international expansion.
