Cazorla Abogados counsels AENOR on acquisition of Prysma Group

Cazorla Abogados has advised AENOR on the acquisition of Prysma Group, a Spanish firm founded in 2005

-

AENOR has acquired all the companies of the Prysma Group. Prysma, which has a staff of 120 professionals, carries out activities in fields in which AENOR works and in other related fields, such as advanced inspections or technology services.

This operation will result in significant synergies, which will lead to advances in the solutions that are made available to organizations. To aid with this acquisition, AENOR retained the services of Cazorla Abogados.

Prysma is renowned in the market and has a significant customer portfolio that includes well-known companies and government agencies. It carries out activities both in Spain and abroad.

Rafael García Meiro, CEO of AENOR, stated regarding this transaction: “The acquisition of Prysma is an important milestone in our path towards becoming the Ibero-American Trust Platform, which involves both organic and inorganic growth. The addition of Prysma to the AENOR Group represents an important contribution in terms of the value we offer to the Group’s customers.”

Prysma will be managed within the AENOR Group as a non-integrated entity during 2023, maintaining its current identity and internal organization. It is worth remembering that in July 2021, AENOR took a controlling stake in the company Cámara Certifica.

Cazorla Abogados’ team was led by partner Luis Cazorla and supported by associates Pablo del Baño Hernández and María Gómez Casana.
