With more than 12 years of experience advising companies in Litigation, Insolvency and Commercial practice, Cristina Serrate has acted in the civil, administrative and criminal jurisdictions, establishing the strategy up to the Supreme Court and High Courts of Justice in representation and defence of large national and multinational corporations in the financial, energy and telecommunications sectors.
She also has extensive experience as an Insolvency administrator and in the defence of the interests of creditor entities and insolvent debtors, as well as in the representation and defence of the interests of senior executives and company administrators. She has also advised on the negotiation and drafting of all types of commercial contracts on behalf of large corporations and companies listed on the Ibex35.
Cristina Serrate has developed her professional career at PwC, as a lawyer in the Litigation and Insolvency Law department, and at Naturgy, as head of Special Litigation, Insolvency Practice and Commercial advice to different areas of the Business.
She holds a Law Degree from the Universitat de Barcelona, a Master’s Degree in Corporate Legal Consultancy from the Instituto de Empresa, a postgraduate degree in Companies in Crisis: Prevention, Restructuring and Insolvency proceedings from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and an Executive MBA from IESE.
