Bufete Mas y Calvet, Smart Global Governance and Europrivacy celebrate the I “Experts Forum on GDPR Certification”

This first meeting of experts on data protection certification will address the challenge of privacy from the legal point of view, the use of automation tools and regulatory compliance at the European level. The online event will take place next Wednesday, February 9, at 6 pm. It is free of charge with prior registration until full capacity is reached.

Compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is no longer just a duty for companies and organizations. It is also a key element to strengthen their reputation with customers and users. In our society, there is a growing awareness among people of the value of good practices in privacy and in the processing of their personal data.

With this idea as a background, the first edition of the “Experts Forum on GDPR Certification”, organized by Bufete Mas y Calvet, Smart Global Governance and Europrivacy, will be held next Wednesday, February 9 at 6 pm.

It is an online meeting with free access upon registration. Experts from these three organizations will address the legal approaches and tools available to companies to ensure maximum guarantees in regulatory compliance for the protection of personal data.

 Among the topics to be addressed, in addition to legal compliance, files and sanctions, are the regulatory compliance structure of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the value-added tools for the data protection officer (DPO) and the most efficient automated processes, what is the European data protection certification and its value for companies.

The international panel of experts will include the participation of:

  • Efrén Díaz, Lawyer and Data Protection officer (DPO), head of the Technology area at Bufete Mas y Calvet.
  • Victoria Manaev, Global Business Development partner at Smart Global Governance.
  • Sébastien Ziegler, president of the International Board of Experts of Europrivacy.

The session, which will last approximately one hour, will also be open to resolving some of the doubts and questions raised by the attendees at the end of the presentations.
