BROSETA integrates Andersen Barcelona

-

Within the framework of the BROSETA Horizon 25 strategic plan, the firm has taken another step forward in its growth and national positioning with the opening of an office in Barcelona.

The opening of BROSETA in Barcelona has been carried out through the integration of a team of more than 50 professionals from Andersen Barcelona, led by partners Toni de Weest PratÁlvaro Gámez and José María Rebollo, and follows the natural process of expansion of the firm in Spain and Portugal, in conjunction with its consolidated position in Madrid, Valencia and Lisbon.

.A new stage for the organisation

BROSETA Barcelona office will have, in this first phase, more than fifty professionals from Andersen, 45 of them lawyers, carring out advisory work in all areas of Business Law and in specialties such as Agri-food, Arbitration, Banking and Finance, Compliance, entrepreneurship, Tax, Real Estate, Environmental, M&A, Urban Planning, Restructuring and Insolvency and Regulatory Law, among others.

For Manuel Broseta, chairman of BROSETA, said: “our presence in Barcelona is an absolutely important milestone for the organisation and is the result of an exhaustive process of evaluating opportunities in the region. Barcelona is a place with intense business activity and a first-rate reference for entrepreneurship and for the professional development of projects linked to digitalization and business investment, and in this scenario we want to be advisors of reference for companies. The deep knowledge of the local business network and its needs by the team that joins this project, together with our expertise and our current portfolio of clients with interests in the region, make us start this new stage with large doses of energy, enthusiasm and optimism.”

Toni de Weest Prat, for his part, considers it “an extraordinary challenge and a very exciting project for our team to be part of a Firm with the reputation, the positioning, the portfolio of clients we will be able to help and the ambitious growth plan of BROSETA. This new stage that we are starting together with a group of people who, in addition to professional excellence, share our values and culture, will strengthen our capabilities and will contribute to continue supporting our clients in their development.”

Iberian dimension and international positioning

BROSETA office in Barcelona is the firm’s third physical location in Spain, together with the presence of the company in Valencia, since its origins, and in Madrid, since 2007.

Additionally, BROSETA has had an office in Lisbon since 2018, thus providing the company with a dimension that allows it to offer a fully Iberian service to its clients.

The geographical positioning of the firm is completed with the Zurich office, a city where the organisation has been present since 2013, and with the leadership of the Ibero-American Legal Network, an alliance of law firms in Latin America that is present in 18 countries and has more than 600 lawyers establishing synergies and meeting the needs of organisations in both geographies.
