São Paulo-headquartered law firm Candido Martins has announced the expansion of its operations to Madrid. According to the law firm, the aim is to expand and intensify contacts with private equity funds, potential clients in the wealth area, as well as investors and financial advisors.
Since its foundation in 2010, the firm has grown by an average of 25% a year. In the last year alone, it has grown 30% with the same team and increased its productivity margin.
The law firm offers advice in Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Corporate, Tax, Wealth Planning, Banking & Capital Markets and Compliance.
Founding partner Henrique Martins will be leading this international expansion, and will be based in Madrid. Henrique is responsible for the Private Equity, Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Law area. He has over 21 years of experience in M&A and private equity transactions, both in structuring and negotiating national and international operations in various sectors of the economy. His activities are focused on corporate and contractual consulting, and in structuring and negotiating. He holds LLBs in Law from Sheffield University, UK and from Law School of Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC-SP). He speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish.
