Adolfo Navarrete advises domestic and international companies on financing and acquisition transactions of commercial, residential, and industrial real estate assets and real estate holding companies. He has also wide experience in negotiation and drafting of lease agreements and providing advice on due diligence proceedings in relation to real estate, planning and environmental aspects.
Throughout his career, Adolfo has taken part in a broad range of transactions, such as, the sale of real estate portfolios, purchase and sale, lease, sale & leasebacks, land development rights, mortgage loans for both local and multinational clients, the creation of large real estate complexes, and the drafting of by-laws for owners’ associations.
At DLA Piper, he was part of the team that advised CBRE Global Investors acquires prime retail and office asset in Madrid, CBRE Global Investment Partners on its joint venture with Sonae Sierra to acquire three shopping centers in Spain and Portugal, Investcorp International Ltd. on its acquisition of a majority stake in Agromillora Catalana, S.A., Portobello Capital Gestion SA SGEIC in connection with the acquisition and related financing of 100% of the Spanish company Ramón Sabater, S.A., or CBRE GIP regarding its acquisition of two high street retail assets in Madrid: the iconic ABC Serrano Shopping Centre and a high street retail building located on Preciados Street. He also advised Advising Ferro Corporation on its €149m acquisition of Barcelona-based Nubiola Pigmentos. Most recently, he advised Generali Real Estate on its acquisition of the iconic building Portal de l’Àngel, 40 in Barcelona from MedCap Real Estate.
Adolfo holds a double degree in Law and Political Science from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE), as well as an LLM from IE. Prior to joining DLA Piper in 2017, he was a Real Estate lawyer at Jones Day.
