BOE publishes the Geospatial Code by Efrén Díaz Díaz

The Spanish Official Gazzete (BOE) has published the Geospatial Code, which selection and arrangement has been carried out by the lawyer and PhD in Law Efrén Díaz Díaz, from Bufete Mas y Calvet

Efrén Díaz Dïaz is head of the Technology and Space Law areas at Bufete Mas y Calvet.

The code is a compendium of the main national and European Legal and Regulatory normative of interest for six sectors: Cartography and Geographic Information, Topography, Law, Notaries, Real Estate Registry and Land Registry.

The Geospatial Code has meant the consolidation by the BOE (Spain´s official gazette) of the more than one hundred standards it incorporates in the six dimensions indicated and the availability of more than one hundred standards with hyperlinked index, normative references and updated analysis. This will facilitate the official and frequent updating by the BOE in the future.

“Hopefully, it will help legal practitioners and technical agents who have occasion to work with geo-information and geospatial data to improve the quality of our work and services,” said Efrén Díaz, author of the code.
