-

Mikel Marco-Gardoqui and Miguel Fuster announced this past April that they were starting Elcano IM,  a new business project in the sector: a real estate asset manager that will manage institutional and private capital, mainly from Latin America.

Until this announcement, the founders were working at CBRE, Marco-Gardoqui as Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets, and Fuster as Head of Investment Properties, and -as they stated then- they will maintain strong synergies with their former company from the new management company. On her side, the consultancy firm CBRE also announced the appointment of Paloma Relinque as Head of Capital Markets, replacing Marco-Gardoqui.

Both executives have been with CBRE for more than 15 years. Previously, Mikel Marco-Gardoqui worked for the real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield in London and for PwC in Madrid. Miguel Fuster previously worked for the real estate consultancy DTZ.

Belda Bordón’s team was formed by Tax/Real Estate partner Javier Bordón, and M&A/real estate partners Pedro Belda and Sergio Moreno.
